A lockdown defender and outstanding scorer , Lachlan Dent is a young up & coming spark plug known for his energy & effort.
Lachlan was born & raised in the Illawarra area, playing all his youth basketball in his hometown. Lachlan made his mark on the NSW youth basketball scene, representing NSW Country at state competitions which lead to him being selected to represent Australia at the 2016 FIBA Under 17s World Championships in Zaragoza.
In 2019, Lachlan signed with hometown team the Illawarra Hawks in the NBL. Lachlan continued to provide a spark for the Hawks for four years seeing an increase in opportunity & production.
In 2023, Lachlan signed with German ProA League team PS Karlsruhe Lions.
