One of the NBL’s quality small forwards Stephen Weigh made his NBL debut with the Perth Wildcats winning a championship with the Wildcats in only his second season with the club. Following his 94 games for the Perth Wildcats, Stephen signed a two-year deal with the Adelaide 36ers. During this stint with Adelaide he competed in the 2012 All Star festival winning the Three Point Shootout.
In 2013/14 Stephen signed to play with the Cairns Taipans and has been an integral member of that team.
A graduate of the Australian Institute of Sport, Stephen won the prestigious Bob Staunton medal for the best player at the National under 20 Championship in 2005.
