Matthew Knight

Matt Knight established himself as the league’s premier big man. In the 2013/14 season he was named in the All-NBL First Team and finished runner-up in the Wildcats MVP award, averaging 14.4 points, 0.9 assists and 6.9 rebounds per game for the season.

Matt Knight is a product of Tasmanian basketball and was a part of Australia’s under-20 world championship winning team before studying at Loyola Marymount University in the United States. Following college, he returned to Australia to play for the West Sydney Razorbacks. Knight played a season in Hungary in 2009/10 before being signed by the Perth Wildcats where he played in both the 2012 and 2013 grand finals.
