Kevin WhiteNBL Rd 16 - Cairns v Adelaide

A tough defensive veteran guard, Kevin White has an extremely high basketball IQ and is a nightmare for opposition guards. 

After four years playing college basketball with Alaska, Kevin began his professional career in his home country playing for the Sydney Kings in the 2010 NBL season. After a season with the Kings, Kevin joined the Ballarat Miners in the SEABL in 2012 whereby impressive performances for the Miners earnt White a new full-time contract with the Kings in 2012.  

Kevin continued to lift his game in the Kings system, where in his final season in 2015 he was named the sides Defensive Player of the Year.

Illawarra was Kevin’s next professional destination as the guard signed with the Hawks in 2015 where he was named team captain and was reunited with his childhood coach Rob Beveridge. Kevin’s experience and captaincy saw him mentor and develop a number of young stars in the NBL.

After four seasons with the Hawks, Kevin signed with the Adelaide 36ers for the 2019/20 NBL season and then the Perth Wildcats for the 2020/21 season.
