April Brandley
A versatile defender with an enormous vertical leap, April Brandley has locked down some of the world’s greatest Goal shooters.
After getting her professional start for the Queensland Firebirds in 2011 as a replacement player, April signed her first full time contract with the NSW Swifts in 2012 where she received the NSW Swifts Players’ Player award for her impressive displays in the 2012 ANZ Championship season.
In 2015, April signed with The West Coast fever before moving the Collingwood Magpies in 2017 where she played for three seasons. It was in Collingwood that April established herself as a supreme defender going on to represent the Australian Diamonds at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games and 2019 Netball World Cup in England.
In 2020, April signed with the GWS Giants for the 2020 and 2021 seasons.
