A knock down shooter/ lock down defender, Kristy Wallace is one of the best two-way players in Australia.
Beginning her career at the Centre of Excellence in 2014, Kristy caught the eye of a number of NCAA basketball teams. Kristy would make the move over to the US to play college basketball for Baylor. An impressive four-year stint in college saw Kristy named in the Big 12 all-Defensive Team & First team All-Big 12 in 2018.
Kristy was drafted by the Atlanta Dream in the 2018 WNBA draft. Atlanta retained Kristy’s rights but allowed her to return home & sign with the Canberra Capitals for the 2018/19 WNBL season.
A devasting knee injury put Kristy out of action before returning to play for the Southside Flyers in the 2021/22 WNBL season. This season saw an incredible comeback from Kristy, representing Australia at the FIBA Asia Cup & World Cup, as well as being named the WNBL Sixth Woman of the Year. In 2022, Kristy signed with the Melbourne Boomers where she had another incredible season being named in the WNBL First Team.
Kristy returned to the WNBA for the 2023 and 2024 seasons for the Indiana Fever.
