Darcee Garbin

A shot creating forward, Darcee Garbin, knocks down shots and gets to the ring at will.

After 2 years at the Australian Institute of Sport in 2011 and 2012, Darcee signed her first professional WNBL contract with her hometown team the West Coast Waves in 2012. 

After three seasons at the Waves, Darcee made the move to North Queensland to play for the Townsville Fire. During her five seasons at the Fire, Darcee was a big part of the Fires two WNBL Championships in 2016 and 2018. 

In 2018, Darcee had a very successful stint in Germany with Herner TC claiming the DBBL Championship as well as the DBBL Cup.

In 2020 Darcee will return home, signing with the Perth Lynx for the 2020/21 WNBL season.

Darcee was selected to represent Australia at the 2022 FIBA World Cup where she played a huge role in leading the Opals to a Bronze Medal. After this successful Opals campaign & two seasons in Perth, Darcee captured the eye of Hungarian side DVTK-Hun-Therm. Darcee signed with DVTK-Hun-Therm for the 2023/24 Hungarian League season and went on to win the championship.
